Let loose..awesome day!!

woke up to a phone call from shaz..but i needed to rush for subuh prayer so i let the mobile ring annoyingly..we have a date today..myself, shaz and azni...we were going to Bray.. but at that second i really didnt feel like leaving my warm duvet. i half dragged my sleepy self somehow and made it to the Tara Street Dart Station on time. The weather was superb although for 10 minutes a drizzle threatened to change the cloud..but it stopped.We took the dart..really old commuter-like train in bright green..which i think really suits it.The journey took about an hour..and for the first time i actually noticed Dublin does have beautiful sceneries.We chatted,gossiped,took pictures excitedly but after 45 minutes we started to get bored.Luckily we reached Bray not long after.

The beach is different from beaches back home.Instead of white sandy beach with people swimming and playing in the water and half build sand castles as the backdrops, it is full of rocks and swimming is prohibited (the warning is written funnyly on a signboard).



Indeed it is dangerous to swim there.Most visitors just strolled along or jogged.Some played catch with their dogs and you can see buggies everywhere.Kids and toddlers did what they do best..being adorable!And the three of us busied ourselves with photoshoot.Without paying any attention to people around us, we striked various weird interesting poses, highly motivated by the models in the Top American Model we watched just the other night.Shaz has become an expert, azni still chose to pose like an innocent girl next door while i was obsessed with my new Ixus 50 and just snapped anything i think interesting...including my own shadow,my handbag,the dogs,the buggies and the rocks.I tried hard to capture the waves and the bubbles and the way the sun reflected on the sand giving it a golden shimmer,trying to give some feeling into each shot..but i just havent got the hang of it.But afterall i had a great time..the photos turn out reasonably ok,nice to look at, though im sure Mr Graham my Photography club teacher back in KMYS wouldnt in the slightest be proud.Worry not sir,its just the beginning.

We strolled along the beach, the air was chilled but everywhere we looked it was so beautiful. Oddly most of the shops were closed,still couldnt come with the best explaination why.We headed back after just over an hour.Did spent some time at an amusement park there.

Later in the afternoon i went to RCSI for another date.This time it was for a basketball match.Of course i was exhilarated about it since i havent played any sport for ages.Hani and Niesa joined too.The court was in used so we had a taste of squash while waiting for our turn.Shu told us that she actually met the famous Nicol Ann David (now no 1 world squash player) on a bus in Dublin but she was irritated by something that she couldnt care less at that time.I remember how self conscious i was in KMYS to even go near the squash court..one because they are many hot guys waiting for their turn hehe..second i really thought they might be pissed if i used the court since i didnt even know how to hold the racquet correctly.We finally got to start the match an hour later...we only played for 1/2 an hour.But it was awesome..i actually improved on catching and passing ball..i was a 'tangan bangku'..im just not good at games that need those two skills..i could play hockey alright.arghh im so sleepy now...i guess thats all.its a great day out..although all my muscles are killing me..it was totally worth it!chiow!
