Aneesa

Sometimes u wonder what’s the purpose of your existence in this world..in this maze of fates, one’s life stories intertwined with others..in the simplest way,in the most complex form of relationship, by a sweet smile, by work, by a glance. In my life, im blessed with the chance to get to know great people..and the greatest amongst them…are my friends.

My path crossed a lady’s named Aneesa in Dublin 4 years ago. We had tons of differences…rarely would I agree with her..simply for the fact that we don’t think alike. But this friend of mine taught me a lot about life…through her I saw many new dimensions that I don’t get to see from my other friends. A lot had happened in her life..and I probably will never handle the situation the way she did..never agreed to some of the things she stood for…but my support will never wither for her..i appreciate and cherished her all the same…and I pray everyday that Allah will send the best things for her..as she is strong and her strength will affect people around her..so that we learn and come back to HIM..as the only ONE we should rely on.

I never realized how much affection I have for her…being me I always thought I would love those who are similar to me more than those who don’t..Until she had pneumothorax. She gave me such a scare, I was so traumatized I refused to say anything about it or showed that I care. I saw her there lying in pain in the recovery room…it dawned on me I almost lost a friend. And because of her I realized my weakness..secretly I prided myself as someone who would always be there for my friends..to lend them a shoulder to cry on..to offer a hug when they need one…but with her there were times I knew that I wasn’t strong enough…so instead of being there for her…I chose to escape and stayed away..

We’ll never know what life will bring us tomorrow…what will happen in the coming few seconds..my only hope is come what may…we’ll stand and face it all together..we will brave every hurdles and obstacles…and we pray for Allah’s rahman and rahim…so that ultimately we’ll be happy in the hereafter.
