may 1-6..bits and pieces

hmm a very interesting week indeed...i started my obs n gynae rotation tuesday...n loving it...the best rota to date..n thought that prof will be a big fear with all the stories we got before...but he's just lovely..and im really amused by all the obs and gynaes..they just have sarcasm at its best.hope this positive feeling'll last till the end coz im really considering to go down this path..

got a couple of bizarre news im itching to put down here but its really unethical so better not..shaz'z counting the days to go back malaysia...im busy planning my 2 months time in the country and of course the plans keep changing..cant help it if u live far up the north east.even to decide to drive or take the plane is a pain in the ***

my beloved aniki ie laptop buat hal..actually the charger just refuse to charge..damn!luckily niesa got a laptop..talking bout good timing hehe

im sticking my nose in 'the historian' instead of impey obs and gynae.no doubt one of my favourites.this book by elizabeth costova is about the history of dracula.not really a fan of horror book so this historic approach to the subject really catch my interest.and i found out something that is not an emphasis in the book, merely something to be mentioned by the writer maybe..but it gives such a big impact to me.in the 40th chapter, she wrote about the invention of the croissant, which was a tribute of a Parisian pastry chef to Vienna's victory over the Ottoman.the croissant represents the crescent moon of the Ottoman flags, a symbol the west devours with coffee to this very day.im very much offended by the mere thought that someone made up something to remember the muslims' failure and actually engraved it in the simple act of eating..eventhough maybe in this case..it was because it was their enemy's.how low can they think we are?and it teaches me how knowing history would wisen a person..so we know where things come from..and dont simply accept every single matter as it is.hmm ok...wanna resume my reading
